At the D23 Expo, Disney unveiled the first teaser trailer for the live-action adaptation of "Lilo & Stitch," introducing newcomer Maya Keleoha as Lilo and featuring a CGI-created Stitch. Directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, known for "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On," the film is slated for a summer 2025 theatrical release.

The live-action "Lilo & Stitch" will blend live-action elements with computer-generated imagery. Previously announced was Zach Galifianakis, star of "The Hangover," who will portray the alien character Pleakley. Producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who were behind the live-action "Aladdin," will also be producing this project.
